Ealing Council have drawn up plans for the transformation of Bollo Brook Open Space on Bollo Bridge Road.
The park which is to the south of Berrymede School is currently grassed over but the Council want to install a range of facilities and features including an outdoor gym for adults and a wild meadow area.
There would also be a jogging track around the park, a fenced off area with artificial football pitches, a ‘chill out’ group seating or hang out stage and a ‘fit-play’ family activity area.
They are holding a consultation on the proposals which runs until 21 September and an exhibition is being held at the park on 15 August between 3pm and 6pm. Local residents are being invited to complete a survey.
This project is part of the wider South Acton development masterplan which include five new parks creating each with a specific theme. This particular park would be aimed at fitness, health and wellbeing.
