Mobile Testing Unit Coming to Grasshoppers' Rugby Club

Tests now available this weekend for all members of the public

Mobile Testing Unit Coming to Grasshoppers’ Rugby Club

A mobile Covid-19 testing unit will be in place on Friday 23 May and Saturday 24 May at Grasshoppers’ Rugby Club, Syon Lane, Osterley, Isleworth, TW7 5PN.

There are a mixture of walk-in and drive-through appointments available at this site.

As more people are returning to work this week, you are advised to get tested if you are symptomatic. Tests should be taken within five days of developing symptoms as this is when the test is most accurate.

Symptomatic people who are key workers, those who cannot work from home and, people over 65, and members of their households are able to get tested for coronavirus and can book an appointment via the self-referral portal.

The government has now extended its testing programme to include any members of the public aged 5 and over. Please register via the NHS website.

Once you register and book your appointment via the self-referral portal or NHS website you will receive a 16-digit code text message. At the testing site, you will need to show your 16-digit code text message to staff members as confirmation for the test.

Anyone who shows up without an appointment will not be tested. The testing centre will be operating between 10.30am-3.30pm.

If an appointment is not available at the Grasshoppers’ site then the same testing criteria apply for bookings at the Twickenham testing site too, and they operate 7 days a week. They do however only offer drive-in appointments.

If you have any difficulty or any questions about testing, email publichealth@hounslow.gov.uk .
