The 24-year-old daughter of the Duke of Rutland has reportedly managed to get a fine she was given for speeding in Brentford halved after pleading financial hardship.

Lady Eliza Manners was prosecuted for driving her Audi at 47mph on a 40mph stretch of elevated section of the M4 this March.

She received a fine for £100 but, according to a report in Evening Standard, she submitted documents to Lavender Hill magistrates stating that the fine would cause her financial hardship and result in cash flow issues. As a result the fine was reduced to £50.

She currently lives in an apartment in Notting Hill but her family home is Belvoir Castle which was used as a location in the Crown.

Her Instagram account shows her on trips to Milan dressed in designer clothes and spending time on holiday on a boat in Greece. She recently shared a post on social media in tribute to her horse Duke who had gone to ‘horsey heaven’.
