The relaunched Brentford Sunday Market is set to return later this month in what is being billed as an Early Easter Eggstravaganza.

The best street food and craft stalls, owned and operated by local traders, are promised as well as live music, kids’ activities and lots more.

Brentford Voice is supporting the market as part of the regeneration of the area and the increased accessibility and use of local public spaces.

The Christmas Market, which it held at the end of last year, has been hailed as a huge success with over 1,500 people attending according to the organisers.

This element of social gathering has prompted Brentford Voice to rebrand the events as Sunday Socials to stress the benefit of a community coming together and that the event is more than just a market.

A spokes person for Brentford Voice said, “We see these monthly markets as a great opportunity for the community of Brentford and beyond to come together and make good use of old and new spaces, and to help foster good connections and conversations within our fantastic community.

“These markets will play an important integral part in the future place making and events strategy of Brentford which include the hugely popular Brentford Canal festival and Creative Mile.”

The next Sunday Social Market takes place on Sunday 24 March and after that it’ll be happening once a month in Market Place and Bradshaw Yard from 11am to 4pm.

This site remains committed to providing local community news and public interest journalism.

Articles such as the one above are integral to what we do. We aim to feature as much as possible on local societies, charities based in the area, fundraising efforts by residents, community-based initiatives and even helping people find missing pets.
