New Cafe Bar By Kew Bridge Seeks Alcohol Licence Extension

A new café bar opening on Kew Bridge Road has applied to Hounslow Council for an extension to a licence to sell alcohol.
More Than Beans Café is moving into the former premises of Hammonds the Butcher which closed this January ending a 30 year association with the area.
The new occupier is a Rickmansworth based company which has a café of the same name there as well as a catering business.
It is seeking to extend the licence to allow them to sell alcohol until 10:30pm each day from 8am except Sunday when it will serve from 10am. The hours that the premises will be allowed to open to the public are given as 6am to 11pm except on Sunday when it can open from 7am.
The licence applied for will cover on and off sales.
The application is for an extension of the existing licence already granted at the address but with longer hours. It states that only a person seated at a table will be served and there will be no draught beer provided. Plans submitted with the application show six tables inside the premises.
We contact More Than Beans for more information about its plans but have yet to receive a response.
