Sunday Afternoon Friends and Family On the Buses is a new event taking place this Sunday (16 May) to mark Middlesex Day.

It takes place from noon at the Last Stop, the pop up bar on Dock Road.

Sunday 16 May will mark the annual celebration of an 1811 battle when the West Middlesex Regiment overcame French troops who were attempting to advance into Portugal during the Peninsula War.

There will be comfortable upcycled bus seating under a large heated roof-covered igloo as well as a ‘secret’ bus beer garden where you can meet up with friends once again surrounded by iconic Routemasters.

There will be beer on tap as well as wine and other drinks as well as Olive’s street-food boxes.

Also showing on on the big screen will be all things British Pathe on Middlesex see some rare footage of our town and County.

Live music returns with Fiona Pa-ge from 2pm -6pm.

There is limited availability due to covid restrictions so click here to book a table.

This site remains committed to providing local community news and public interest journalism.

Articles such as the one above are integral to what we do. We aim to feature as much as possible on local societies, charities based in the area, fundraising efforts by residents, community-based initiatives and even helping people find missing pets.
