Hanging Body Found In Derelict Pub

New England Pub Home To A Corpse

On 26th January police attended the derelict and boarded up premises of New England pub on York Road after being contacted by local residents and found a body hanging.

After investigation it has been treated as non suspicious death.

Efforts are being made to identify this person, but these are hampered due to the advanced decomposition of the body. The coroner at Fulham Coroners court is dealing with this.

A planning application to demolish the New England pub which has been closed since April 2006 and build offices and 41 apartments has been submitted to Hounslow Council.
