Worple Avenue Burglars convicted
On 12th April 2010 at about 6:25pm, Police were called to a house in Worple Avenue, Isleworth as the callers had heard glass smashing at the property.
When police arrived on the scene they saw a man standing outside the property.
Police could hear someone else inside the property and on going round the back of the property noticed a large window in the kitchen was smashed.
With the help of other officers a containment was put in, and officers entered the house to search for the suspect.
One suspect was located inside the property in the upstairs bedroom under the bed, She was detained and arrested for burglary.
A man stopped outside the property was also arrested as he was believed to be the lookout. The occupier of the house was not at home during this incident.
On 30th June 2010 at Isleworth Crown Court both Denise Lee and Harry Paul Johnson pleaded guilty to a charge of Handling Stolen Goods from Richmond and also to the offence of Burglary at Worple Avenue, Isleworth.
On 6th August, 2010 at Isleworth Crown Court, Denise Lee and Harry Paul Johnson were sentenced to 1 year 4 months imprisonment.
