"Lets talk" Griffin Park residents tell football club
Locals aim to get improvements plan back on track
Residents around Griffin Park have vowed to do what they can to find agreement on Brentford FC's plans to make changes to the hundred year old ground.

The plans are in jeopardy following councillors' decision not to grant planning permission for the changes which would have seen the construction of a roof over the Ealing Road end and a building to serve as lounges at classrooms at the back of New Road.
A lack of consultation from the club was one of the reasons that councillors delayed making a decision. However residents of New Road are keen to talk to the club to see if the plans can become a reality - and allow Brentford to claim £1.7million from the Football Foundation.
"We've always been willing to talk" one resident told BrentfordTW8.com. "But the club have only ever showed us finished plans - we've never had any input. We're convinced that we can sort this out if the club are willing to enter into meaningful dialogue."
