17th December 11am – 2pm Be Safe Be Well Project
Join Age Concern for a day of information aimed at providing techniques and tips to keep you safe this winter.
"Be Safe Be Well" project helps fight bogus callers and doorstep crime by the free installation of Locks, Intercoms, Key Safes, Spy Holes and Garden Tidy up’s for the over 65’s in the Hounslow Borough.
“Action Against Burglary Road Show” here at the Albany Social Centre in Brentford on the 17th of December. This event will include talks from all methods of crime prevention professionals as well as poetry and drama performances.
As often the biggest home security issues are bad habits including the misuse or incorrect use of the Door Chain and the trusting nature of the elderly the event on the 17th aims to teach Hounslow’s elder population tips and techniques that will keep them safer and more comfortable at home.
22nd-23rd December 11.00 – 15.00 Christmas Lunch and Party with entertainment
