brag AGM  tuesday 10th november 2009 7 pm

Age Concern, Alexandra House, Albany Road, Brentford TW8 0NE

All are invited to this year's Brentford Recycling Action Group Annual General Meeting, which will be our 10th!  It will be held on Tuesday the 10th of November 2009, at 7.00pm. The venue is the Age Concern premises, Alexandra House, Albany Road, Brentford.

In case you don't know, brag (Brentford Recycling Action Group) is a voluntary non-political community waste action group, made up of local Brentford residents.  It works to raise awareness of waste issues and to promote activities and facilities to improve the local environment for the benefit of local people.

brag will be bringing you up to date on the group's achievements during the last year. This includes work at community events and the website, which aim to be a valuable resource to all local people with an interest in waste reduction (www.bragonline.org.uk), and other recycling awareness projects. In addition, brag will report on our last very successful project which was the production of the second “Young Green Voices” magazine produced in conjunction with the four Brentford Primary Schools.

Along with reports from our committee members the guest speaker will be Jim Brennan, Director, West London Waste. Natasha Epstein, Head of Waste and Recycling Services, London Borough of Hounslow, will bring everyone up to date on local issues and Dan Brook from Space Waye, London Borough of Hounslow will give a talk about what happens at “the Tip”! So, if you've contributed to brag success in any way or are just interested in brag's activities the group would love to see you on the 10th!

The evening will be as enjoyable as possible so there will be refreshments and wine and time for any questions you may want to ask.
