Fire, Flooding, Power Failure, Terrorism

How to deal with any of it as a Brentford business

Chamber logoThe Contingency Planning Unit from London Borough of Hounslow are holding a resilience presentation and workshop on 18th October 2010 at Holiday Inn London – Brentford Lock. The free event is specifically designed for Brentford Businesses and will provide those who attend with an opportunity to pose questions to and gain expert advice from the Local Authority, Metropolitan Police Service and London Fire Brigade.

Businesses need to ensure that they and their suppliers are resilient. When emergencies occur it is stressful for all involved but by having some awareness beforehand, this can help. It is important for businesses to be aware of the types of risk they may face; how these risks can be reduced; what the emergency services will do; and the procedures available to enable businesses to get back to trading as quickly as possible.

This event, supported by Brentford Chamber of Commerce, will take place on Monday 18th October 2010 from 1730-2030 and will be accompanied by a light finger buffet.

In order to secure a place at this event, please RSVP to the Contingency Planning Unit through the contact details below, no later than 8th October 2010.
