The Brentford Christmas Market this year is promising to be a day of festive fun for all the family.

It is taking place on Sunday 17 December from 11am to 5pm and is being hosted by Brentford Voice, The Brentford Project and events company, Trash & Treasure on the site of the old Sunday Market, down Bradshaw Yard, just off the High Street to Workhouse Dock.

The event will be officially opened by local film and television actor Ian McNeice, best known for playing Bert Large in ITV’s dramedy Doc Martin.

There will be music with a series of live performances including St Faith’s Players and Brentford School for Girls, who will be entertaining the crowd with carols, plus performances from a Steel Pan Band and the Beaver Scout Troup.
