Don your rubber gloves and pitch in
Groundwork Thames Valley has been given resources to organise a community clean up event in Brentford ahead of the Olympic Torch Relay.
It is being funded by Proctor and Gamble and is part of a London wide initiative supported by the Mayor of London and Hounslow Council.
On Thursday 28th June from 10am to 1pm you are invited to join in to spruce up Brentford High Street, gathering in front of Goddards.
Groundwork will provide tools, gloves, litter pickers, graffiti removing kits etc.
Hounslow Council will remove rubbish collected.
Events are also taking place in Putney and other areas of London.
Brentford has a terrific community and this is a chance for people to meet and improve their High Street, whilst chatting and maybe planning future events and initiatives.
