Join in the celebrations this weekend
This Summer, on Saturday 11th and Sunday 12th July, Brentford Dock Celebrates the 150th Anniversary of Brunel's Dock. Join us and celebrate with local people and interested enthusiasts of Industrial Architecture, River Transport, Sail Steam and Diesel. Brentford Dock is a Private Estate and will be open to the public for two days only.
All this will happen around Brentford Dock's Marina between 12.00 and 22.30 on Saturday and 12.00 and 17.00 on Sunday.

* Robert Rankin Robert Rankin is a special guest over this weekend, this will be the first opportunity to get a paperback copy of Necrophenia and have the man sign it.
* Steam Boats: The 100 Years old steam narrow boat President will be going by Brentford Dock on Monday July 13. President and its butty Kildare are owned by the Black Country Museum and is touring the waterways this summer as part of its centenary celebrations.
* Historical Narrow boat: The Classic 72 foot working narrow boat "Roger" will be visiting us from Rickmansworth Waterways Trust
* Brentford Cruising Club
* Vintage film in old warehouse
* Live Music
* Free Vintage Shuttle Buses every hour to the Musical Museum and the Kew Bridge Steam Museum

Brentford Dock began construction in 1855 from a plan by Brunel as a freight link between river-borne traffic and the Great Western Railway's (GWR) rail network to the West Country and other parts of the United Kingdom.
