Cakes And Painting At Chiswick Pier

Award winning artist Jason Bowyer's Exhibition

Families enjoyed printing and painting works of art inspired by the Thames at the  Painting at the Pier workshops at Chiswick Pier on Sunday October 11th.

An added attraction were some creative cupcakes courtesy of Lucy Ryan,  who had made some especially water themed delicacies which were enjoyed by artists and passers by alike.

Award winning artist, Jason Bowyer set up his easel on the Pier and demonstrated the art of  oil painting. "I paint along the stretch of the river from Brentford to Hammersmith" says Jason.

"I particularly like the little islands or eyots.The river surface is continually changing due to the wind, sun and tide.  The trees along the river and their reflections fascinate me throughout the seasons."

Jason has an exhibition coming up at Studio 5,  Kew Steam Museum, Green Dragon Lane, Brentford, Middlesex, TW8 OEN from November 13-15th, 11am-5pm.
