Pupils of Green Dragon School Invite You to Attend

Pupils of the Green Dragon Primary School in Brentford are delighted to invite the residents of Hounslow and surrounding areas to visit their ‘Green Day’ exhibition that will be taking place on Thursday 26th March at Kew Bridge Arches.

The day will highlight many of the problems facing the planet such as global warming and the scarcity of resources and will also suggest a number of ways in which we can help solve these problems by doing simple, everyday things such as recycling, conserving water and reducing our carbon footprint.

The School Council, a group of students who have been elected to represent the views of all pupils at the school, has been working closely with local developer St George over the past few months to plan and implement this event, which will take the form of an exhibition designed and produced by the children of Green Dragon Primary School.

Alisha Kennedy, Chair of Green Dragon’s School Council said, “We hope lots of people will come along to our exhibition as we have put a lot of effort into highlighting the problems children of our age will face in the future if people do not look after the environment.”

Ian Dobie, Managing Director of St George West London comments, “St George is delighted to be involved in this project with Green Dragon Primary School as not only does it raise awareness of some very important environmental issues, but it also a fantastic opportunity for the children to get real-life experience of working as a team to plan, budget and market an event.”

The exhibition will be open from 10am – 3pm on Thursday 26th March and admission is free.
