Just under £3,000 raised
Brentford Dock’s “Macmillan Week” in September raised a whopping £2,963.69.
The week started with a Massive Sale on a Saturday of everything and anything from unwanted Christmas presents to homemade chutneys and refreshments, and at the end of a gloriously sunny day a total of £1,406.71 had been raised.
The following Friday a bumper turnout enjoyed coffee and home made cakes, buying many raffle tickets for the fabulous prizes donated by local businesses and individuals; an event organised as part of the Macmillan’s “Biggest Coffee Morning in the World”. Another gloriously sunny day and a further £1,556.98 raised.
Next year’s events will be on 18th and 24th September - watch this space!
