Enchanted Woodland at Syon Park

Illuminated trail takes you through Syon Gardens

Enchanted Woodland

The Enchanted Woodland returns to Syon Park on November 18th for its eleventh year.

An illuminated trail takes the visitor through the Arboretum and around Capability Brown’s Serpentine River, ending at the sixteenth century Syon House and the spectacular Great Conservatory.

Lighting effects range from high-tech to low key, but Head Gardener Topher Martyn says it’s the trees which are the real stars of the show as emphasis is placed on bringing out the textures of bark and the forms of some of our 400 different tree species.

The Gardens team at Syon are central to the whole event, designing and installing many of the features on route.

“We’re currently planning our own range of unique displays and can promise a few surprises!. Best of all, the event is run by the gardeners, so you can stop one of us and ask about the trees themselves!”
