Free Mini-Health Check at Topnotch during Breast Cancer Month

Breast Cancer OctEvery 11 minutes men and woman in the UK hear the shocking news that they have breast cancer.

Dealing with this diagnosis can be a confusing, lonely and frightening time not only for the person diagnosed, but for their partner, family and friends.

TopnotchOn Tuesday 26th Oct 2010 Topnotch are hosting an evening from 5pm discussing  breast awareness, joining us will be a team of professionals’ from BMI Syon Clinic – hosting an rolling 15 minute presentation showing us how to look after our breasts, learn The breast awareness 5-point code:

1.   Know what is normal for you

2.   Know what changes to look and feel for

3.   Look and feel

4.   Report any changes to your GP without delay

5.   Attend routine breast screening if you are aged 50 or over

This evening Topnotch will be offering all first come first served a free mini health check, checking for health indicators including blood pressure, height, weight & body mass index, cholesterol and glucose.  Joining us also our in house therapy team Vital Energy offering you a free massage helping you to relax after a long day at work, Mark our nutritionist will also be at hand for any nutritional advice and free healthy eating taster sessions.

This is a free event so please bring your friends and family, our aim for this evening is to raise money for breast cancer, if you purchase a stylish pink enameled metal pin badge for £1 you will be given a free raffle ticket, the winner will be announced/contacted at the end of the evening – the prize will be a free platinum 3 month membership for you and a loved one at Topnotch.
