Doctor Who Filmed in Brentford

Well, not all of it!

It's always a pleasure when you're sitting in front of the televion or the cinema screen and the location looks familiar to you, even though it's not supposed to.

Well Brentford has been used four times for Doctor Who locations as this website testifies:

• Clayponds Lane or Burford Road was filmed back in 1973 for Invasion of the Dinosaurs
• Harvey House was filmed in 1971 for Day of the Daleks
• More recently the Kew Bridge Steam Museum was used in 1988 for Remembrance of the Daleks
• Wallis House was used in 2007 for The Christmas Invasion

Football has also been the theme at Brentford, not surprisingly, with

• Mike Bassett: Manager filmed at Brentford FC
• Green Streets filmed around the Griffin and Braemar Road
• Goal II also used the Griffin
