Brentford Flat Damaged by Fire

Over twenty people evacuated from area on Sunday night

No injuries were reported after a flat fire on Great West Road in the early hours of Monday morning (11 December).

Five fire engines and 31 firefighters and officers were called after midnight to deal with a flat fire on the lower ground floor in a block of flats.

Twenty one people were evacuated from neighbouring properties.

Fire crews from Chiswick, Ealing, Acton, Richmond and Heston fire stations attended the scene.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
