The series of summer bandstand concerts organised by The Friends of Watermans Park continues this Saturday (15 July).

This week starting at 4pm there will be Andrea Black. With 10 albums to her credit, Andrea's music continues to inspire audiences defining her as cross-genre artist with a unique and distinct style on guitar, woven by her unmistakeable dynamic vocals.

Gary Brooker - from first strum of his guitar to his love for Brit Pop and Indie Rock, Gary’s musical career was born. He will be performing original material acoustically.

Edwin Addis - is not only host of the Summer Bandstands but also a talented songwriter whose first EP can be found on Bandcamp and is a collaboration with singer and multi-instrumentalist Mike Davies. His band Trade Only plays both covers and original songs.

There’ll be more music on each Saturday afternoon in July from 4pm.

More details of future events will be available on the Friends website.

This site remains committed to providing local community news and public interest journalism.

Articles such as the one above are integral to what we do. We aim to feature as much as possible on local societies, charities based in the area, fundraising efforts by residents, community-based initiatives and even helping people find missing pets.

One-off donations are also appreciated. Choose The Amount You Wish To Contribute.
