Daniel Goldsmith to stand for the Green Party in the Brentford and Isleworth Election

"Only the Green Party can be relied on to prevent expansion of Heathrow"

Hounslow Green Party announced today that Daniel Goldsmith will stand for the Green Party in the next Parliamentary Election for Brentford and Isleworth.

Daniel said “The people of Brentford and Isleworth have a real choice in the next election.  Caroline Lucas was elected as the Green MP for Brighton Pavilion in the last election and has shown the difference that a Green MP can make.  Only the Green Party can be relied on to prevent the further expansion of Heathrow Airport.”

Daniel lives in Chiswick with his wife and two sons aged 15 and 13.  Daniel is an IT consultant and works in Brentford.  He is standing because he firmly believes that only the Green Party offers policies for a good and healthy environment and will close the gap between rich and poor.  He has campaigned against Airport Expansion, Climate Change and also on Air Pollution.  Daniel commented “parts of Hounslow have worse pollution than World Health Organisation limits.  Air pollution is a silent and invisible killer, which kills more than 3.000 people a year across London.”
