Cat Fosterers and Owners in Hounslow needed
HAWS, Hounslow Animal Welfare Society have sent out a message saying that they have seen a surge in the number of cats and kittens that need urgent help and care. Sadly there are many that are turedn away because foster homes are full to bursting. There is also a drop in the number of homing enquiries.
If you could consider giving a home to another cat or can think of anyone who might be able to do so, then please do get in touch. If some of the cats already in care can be homed then HAWS will be able to help those who at the moment are having to fend for themselves.
Alternatively if you know anybody who might like to join the team of fosterers please get in touch. They can apply by filling in an online adoption application form (marking clearly in the text that it is a fostering application) or by email to volunteer@haws-animals.org.uk
HAWS is holding its AGM in October, where results of the 2012 raffle will be announced, with some wonderful prizes (including a weekend away at a cottage in Kent and an overnight stay at a luxury hotel in Surrey). Tickets can be bought on the website www.haws-animals.org.uk until the end of September.
