Thank You All
The Inverness Lodge hosted a charity night on Saturday 24th October 2009 in aid of the charity Help for Heroes. It was well supported by club members and guests and we were pleased to welcome several people from the BrentfordTW8 website.
The entertainment started with 6 exciting horse races with the opportunity to name your own horse and place small bets on the races.
We then had an auction of 27 lots kindly donated by local businesses large and small. We were delighted to welcome our celebrity auctioneer Tom Keane from Chiswick Auctions who expertly ran the auction.
Refreshments were served during the evening and there was a fun and friendly atmosphere. The evening ended with fantastic sounds from the 60’s, 70’s & 80’s with Kevin’s disco and the raffle. The evening raised over £3,500 and the Inverness Lodge would like to thank everyone who helped to make the evening such a success and raise so much money for such a worthy cause.
