Plans have been submitted for a new private hospital in the Brentford area.
An application P/2024/3140 has been made for signage and shopfront changes at 92-24 Windmill Road for ‘London Private Hospital’.
Documents submitted with the bid state that this would be a ‘state-of-the art private specialist and general medical practice and hospital activities in a high-quality environment’.
A web site set up for the hospital suggests that it will specialise in cosmetic treatments such as breast enlargement, liposuction and facelifts.
The unit, which is on the ground floor of a recently completed five storey building with flats on the upper floors, is across the road from the Toyota dealership and faces the M4 flyover.
An application was made for a change of use at the site back in 2022 to allow a Medical Surgery to be based there.
The applicant is a Mr Niraj Manglam who has a number of directorships in companies which appear to be involved in the private health industry including Manchester Private Hospital Ltd and Edgbaston Clinic which is currently in liquidation.
There is already another private hospital in the area, the Syon Clinic which is further west on the A4.
If you wish to see further details of the application or make comments, visit the planning section of the Hounslow Council web site and search for (P/2024/3140).
