Lionel Road Development (Lionel Road triangle TW8 9QR) P/2013/1811
Full planning permission for a new stadium for Brentford FC and outline permission for 910 residential flats was approved in December 2015. A further application P/2017/3891 has now been approved (Dec). Building is expected to commence in Apr after site clearing in Mar.
Ballymore (Land south of the high street)
P/2012/2735
Outline application for the entire site and detailed application was approved April 2015. Mix of 867 residential units, commercial, retail and parking.
Maintenance is ongoing for St Lawrence's Church. CPO was approved (Mar).
Boston Manor House (P/2017/4712)
Planning application was approved for the restoration and repair of Boston Manor House with the inclusion of a lift, reinforcement of the stairway and transformation of the existing flats in the service wing to charity and small business space with the addition of a cafe and shop (Mar).
Goddards - Roman House and Brentwater Business Park
Pre-application consultation on 23rd January. Application submitted for Brentwater Business Park, The Ham (P/2018/0922) (Mar)
L&Q / Citroen Garage (P/2017/4692)
L&Q submitted a planning application for 425 flats and 5 houses in five blocks of 12-18 storeys (Nov). Recommended for Refusal (Jan). Called in by Mayor of London (Feb)
Capital Interchange Way (bus garage)
P/2016/5244
An application was refused on 15/12/2017 for three 18, 19 and 20 storey buildings including a bus depot, 550 flats, offices etc. Serious hard to heritage assets, contrary to London Plan and Hounslow Local Plan; loss of daylight to Lionel Road accommodation, absence of legal agreement on multiple obligations, no affordable housing.
Rear of Kew Bridge Station (TW8 0EW P/2017/1203)
30 flats of which 15 will be at "affordable rent" approved at Planning Committee (Dec) 4 studios, 21 x 1 bed, and 5 x 2 bed.
Ballymore Block D - affordable housing, 98-109 Brentford High Street (P/2017/3946)
Planning application has been approved for 96 flats and ground floor retail (Nov)
London Green (police P/2017/3371 / Watermans & Max Factor "Albany Riverside" P/2017/3372)
A planning application was approved for about 300 flats and a replacement Watermans (of similar size to existing) on police site and Watermans/Max Factor sites (Feb).
Sarah Trimmer Hall (TW8 0DB P/2017/3809 and P/2017/3922)
Application for partial demolition of existing hall to create two dwellings were refused (Nov)
P/2016/2521 was granted for replacement and repair for much of the building (Feb).
New Horizons Court (TW8 9ET)
Prior Approval was granted for conversion from office use to residential (144 flats) for blocks 1 and 4. (PA/2017/4311 and PA/2017/4310) (Dec-2017)
Parkview, Great West Road (TW8 9AZ PA/2017/0628)
Prior Approval was refused by Hounslow but overturned on appeal for the conversion of the offices to 171 residential units (Oct)
Floreat School (Layton Road)
The original planning application was P/2017/0701 for a primary school and 139 flats in February 2017. This was refused in November. Rather the school is intended to be built on the existing car park site without the houses. (Oct). Floreat School announced its closure so this site development is currently suspended.
Alfa Laval Site C (P/2017/1635)
was agreed at Planning Committee for office space up to 13 storeys (Sep)
Kew Bridge Pontoon (P/2017/3111) permission for its removal has been granted (Aug) but it's still here (Dec).
Chiswick Curve (Chiswick Roundabout)
P/2015/5555
The planning application for a 32-storey tower block at Chiswick roundabout was rejected by the Planning Committee in February 2017. The applicant is appealing this decision. See further details (Aug). The appeal is currently booked for 15 June 2018
Bolder Academy (Grasshoppers Rugby Club)
P/2017/1417
Planning application was approved in August 2017 for a new secondary school to be built on the current Grasshoppers site (which is moving next to the Nishkam School).
Brentford Towers
Proposed Refurbishment will be carried out but the towers will not be reclad. There will be urgent improvement works, including concrete treatments, window and fire door replacements, and extensive grounds improvements.
B&Q / Hudson Square
Outline proposals for at least six blocks of up to 22 storeys containing PRS, affordable and student accommodation, hotel and office / retail were exhibited in June.
Brentford Pedestrian Bridge
A locally led campaign for a cycle and pedestrian bridge from Ferry Quays to Kew to be privately funded. Fundraising campaign has been launched. June.

Early plans for 497 flats, a 120 room hotel and a 55,000 sq ft office building. May Site bought by Quinata for over £300m (Jan-2017)

Application for 221 private rented sector units, supermarket and other retail use with 90 parking spaces was approved at planning committee in April 2017 subject to completion of S106 agreement (expected July).

Creation of 26 permanent moorings with car park and landscaping was approved (May 2016)
