Residents troubled by continued and excessive late night noise in Brentford on a Friday or Saturday night can, between the hours of 10pm and 4am, contact the Hounslow Council Weekend Noise Team on 020 8583 2222 or email pollution@hounslow.gov.uk who will send a team to investigate the problem and if necessary put a stop to the nuisance.

BT Phone Scams

British Telecom are warning customers to be on guard after learning of a series of scams involving fraudsters claiming to be from BT.  The scammers telephone their victim at their home to warn them that their account is in arrears and request that the customer settle the arrears immediately by asking for the customer’s personal credit card or bank details.  Customer’s questioning the fraudsters are pressurised into thinking that if they do not settle their account there and then, their telephone will be cut off immediately.  Please don’t fall for this scam, should you receive a similar telephone call from someone claiming to be from BT advising that your telephone account is in arrears and asking for your personal finance details, please put the phone down. 

Halloween Night

Saturday 31st October is Halloween night.  While no one wishes to spoil the fun of young children dressed as wizards and witches, visiting our homes trick or treating, please take care not to be distracted by other less welcome callers who may use Halloween as an excuse to gain entry into our homes.

Stopping your vehicle just briefly in Brentford High Street between the hours shown below, can result in a three figure parking fine being sent to your home.   

North side (Barclays Bank/Martins)       7am-10am   MON-FRIDA

South side (NatWest Bank/Post Office) 7am- 10am   MON-SATURDAY 

CCTV located in Brentford High Street will identify your vehicle registration number and a Parking Penalty Notice mailed to your address.

If you park in the Bus Lane on the North side (Barclays Bank/Martins) of the High Street between the hours of 07am and 10am Monday to Friday, a Parking Penalty Notice of £80 will also be mailed to your address.
