West London Mental Health Trust seek commitment

West London Mental Health NHS Trust are looking to appoint a Non-Executive Director to sit on the Board .

WLMHT run mental health services in the three London boroughs of Ealing, Hammersmith & Fulham and Hounslow, in addition to Broadmoor Hospital, in Berkshire. It’s a preference to appoint from within the areas we cover.

This is an exceptional opportunity for someone who has Board level or strategic management experience in the area of either local government or business development, to make a positive difference to the lives of people living in their community. 

Chairman of the Trust, Nigel McCorkell says: “We are committed to providing a high level of care to our service users and carers. For that reason we need to recruit someone with a high level of commitment to patients, carers and the community, especially to disadvantaged groups.

“We also need someone who is willing to accept accountability, probe and challenge constructively, in addition to being able to influence and persuade others. They must be committed to working as a team member and motivated to improve NHS performance.”
