Cavendish Primary School aims to achieve high standards of education by providing a broad and balanced curriculum in which children are actively involved in their own learning.
The school endeavour to develop independence, motivation and enthusiasm in all children whatever their ability.
Cavendish make particularly good use of an attractive grounds to extend the children’s work in all areas of the curriculum, especially art, language and science.
Cavendish recent OFSTED Inspection in March 2008 found the school to be good with many positive features.
Cavendish has recently had commissioned building work.
This is part of a project to develop a Childrens Centre at Cavendish and to greatly improve the Foundation Stage accommodation.
