Chiswick Community School Head to Step Down Parents told new Head to be appointed in the next few months
In a surprise announcement David Brockie has told parents in the school's weekly newsletter that he is to leave Chiswick Community School. He is to depart between now and the end of the academic year, remaining as Head Teacher until a replacement can be found. He said of his departure, "I have felt very privileged to work in such a dynamic organisation with such a diverse and talented group of students and staff. I have undertaken a variety of roles since arriving eleven years ago as Head of Year, including Head of Sixth Form and Deputy Head. During the last two years it has been a pleasure to serve the school as its Headmaster in an important period of transition. Now it is the right time for me to move on." He thanked the
many parents who had given their active support to the school particularly
the PTA and those serving as governors.
