Ealing Man Nominated as 'Fundraiser of the Year'

A man from Ealing has been shortlisted for a national award following his fundraising efforts for a disability charity.
56-year-ol Guni Suri has raised over £18,000 for Sense and, as a result has been nominated as a candidate for ‘Fundraiser of the Year’
Sense is a charity which supports children and adults with complex disabilities.
Guni, who works in the jewellery industry, has taken part in various fundraising challenges and activities for Sense over the past five years, including climbing Snowdon at midnight, walking 52 miles along the Thames Ridgeway and taking part in cycling event Ride London.
He has involved his two Shiba Inu dogs in his fundraising efforts, and one of them even took part in the Thames Ridge Walk challenge with him.
The Sense Awards, now in their twentieth year, celebrate the achievements of people with complex disabilities and those who support them.
Guni Suri said, “I very much appreciate being shortlisted for Fundraiser of the Year at the Sense Awards. Taking on challenges for a cause I believe in is a testament to the power of human determination and compassion. It reminds us that when we come together to overcome obstacles, we can make a meaningful difference in the world.”
