The family of a 43-year-old man from Greenford are urging people to help the police in their search to find him,

Peter Frederick Boon, 43, better known as Pete, was last seen by his family at around 8.45am on 5 February when he left his home address in North Greenford to spend the day in Central London visiting galleries. He told them he would be gone for three or four hours but did not come back.

He was last spotted in the early hour of the following day at the Blenheim Centre in Hounslow.

Pete is a white man,, 5ft 11ins and with short brown hair which is receding in the middle. He was wearing a dark coloured gilet with a long sleeve top underneath, navy corduroy trousers, brown leather shoes and a dark coloured scarf. He was also wearing brown framed glasses. Pete has hearing difficulties and is not believed to be wearing his hearing aids.

Pete’s family have appealed to him directly and say, "Pete, we are all missing you and very worried about you. Please come home, there is no problem that can't be solved. If you don't want to come home or are unable to, please contact one of us, dial 999 or approach a police officer to let us know you are OK, or ask for help if needed.

“If anyone sees Pete or knows where he is, please contact the Met Police."

If you can assist in the search call 101, quoting ref 2504564/24. For an immediate sighting, dial 999.

Articles such as the one above are integral to what we do. We aim to feature as much as possible on local societies, charities based in the area, fundraising efforts by residents, community-based initiatives and even helping people find missing pets.
