Sheep Shearing Takes Place at St Augustine's Priory's School Farm

There was a chance for pupils at St Augustine’s Priory to see how sheep are able to keep cool in the summer recently.

Shearer Tom Davis came to the school’s farm to take off the winter coats of the small flock.

Although not all of the sheep were immediately delighted by the process, they were all eventually relieved to be shorn given the current hot weather.

After the shearing, the St Augustine’s Priory student Farm Managers sorted and rolled the fleeces ready for sale.
