200 volunteers are running the services including teams from seven Ealing Churches. Food and other services are provided at St John’s Church, Mattock Lane, W13 on Friday lunchtime and Saturday and Sunday afternoons, and at the Salvation Army Hall, Leeland Road, W13 on Monday evenings. Northolt East Infection Rate of 1,728.85/100,000 People
The next highest rate is 1,546.5 in Whitton Avenue West, Northolt. The lowest Ealing rate I can find is 585.9 in West Ealing. The rate for Ealing is 1,077.5. I have been checking nine areas of Ealing every day this year, and this is the first day a significant number of area rates (five of them) have dropped on a day-by-day basis.
Five New Covid-19 Test Centres Set Up in Ealing
Free Lateral Flow Covid-19 tests are now available at Acton Library, Ealing Central Library, Greenford Library, Northolt Library and Southall Manor. These test centres are for people who are not displaying Covid-19 symptoms. Results are generally available within 30 minutes. You need to book a test here.
NHS Covid-19 Scam
An alert has been raised by NHS North West London’s Collaboration of Clinical Commissioning Groups about fraudsters soliciting money and bank details from those who want to be vaccinated.
These text messages are not from the NHS. The NHS will never ask you to pay or demand your bank details. If in doubt contact the NHS Fraud Authority on 0800 0284060

Are We Short on Covid-19 Vaccines in Ealing?
Lots of people whose parents are in their 80s, 90s and 100s have contacted me reporting no contact from the NHS (or anyone else) about getting vaccinated. It’s rumoured some Ealing GP practices have no stock of vaccine. GP surgery staff cite a shortage of vaccinators especially as the Saturday/Sunday shifts are 8am to 8pm.
Ealing Covid-19 Vaccination Plan
No response yet from Ealing Council or Ealing NHS bosses. This could mean that there isn’t a plan or there is a plan and it’s a secret. As for who is running vaccinations in Ealing, no-one apparently wants to own up. Maybe the Army will take control. At least NHS North West London Freedom of Information unit has acknowledged my FOI request.
However my MP - Virendra Sharma – has given me and two other of his constituents a few answers:
+ So far 2,000 Ealing residents have been Covid-19 vaccinated.
+ He confirms there are two Ealing Covid-19 vaccinations centres at Ealing Town Hall and the Dominion Centre Southall. He says a third centre will be added in the north of the borough.
+ Apparently ‘NHS North West London and the Ealing Clinical Commissioning Group are leading the vaccination programme in Ealing’.
+ He says he (and presumably the other two Ealing MPs) have weekly, private Covid-19 meetings with ‘NHS Ealing’.
+ He claims there is a vaccination plan for Ealing but it’s not being publicised ‘to avoid confusion’.
Secrecy can work if those kept in the dark have trust and confidence in those in power. After the Government’s PPE shambles and the NHS Test and Trace farce, trust and confidence in those managing the country is in short supply.
Southall’s Largest Gurdawara – Sri Gura Singh Sabha – Remains Open to Individual Worshippers
At its two sites in Havelock Road and Park Avenue, individual worshippers can visit, but not sit down, using a one-way system.
