The total amount raised by runners in the Ealing Half Marathon last month was over £155,000.

This brings the total raised by this and previous races to £2.5million.

The official charities for the 2021 race included Alzheimer’s Society, Cancer Research UK, Macmillan Cancer Support and Meadow House Hospice.

This will be a welcome boost for the causes supported because the last eighteen months has seen a big dip in the amount raised for charities.

The organisers said, “A big thank you to every single runner who raised worthy funds for the charities with their half marathon efforts, you are all amazing! “

Cancer Research UK & Macmillan Cancer Support have been announced as Platinum Charities for 2022, whilst Meadow House Hospice returns as a Gold Charity.
