Hanwell Carnival is back in Elthorne Park on Saturday 21 August.
After missing last year due to the pandemic the 2021 carnival is taking place a bit later that its more traditional date in June but is returning with all the usual attractions and more.
The main Music Stage features bands spanning the range of popular music.
The community stage, which is hosted by Westside Radio, will feature a variety of performers including - Reggae Aerobics, Ealing Street Dance Academy, Miss Ministry Of Dhol, Ealing Rock Choir and much more. Hosts on the day will be Westside’s Issra and Jemma alongside DJ D-Zine.
It all starts at 12 noon.
As well as the music stages there will be an animal zone, dog show, charity and trade stalls, plus craft tent, food stalls, licensed bar, funfair and other amusements for children.
The event seeks to encourage local initiatives, so there will be a wide range of charity and trade stalls from around the Hanwell area. This is the biggest fundraising event of the year for many of the local charities, so you are encouraged to support them on the day.
The dog show is an established part of Hanwell Carnival with a great choice of classes. You don’t need to pre-register, just turn up on the day with your canine companion. Entry fee is £4 for one class or £7 for two with the show starting at 1pm and the overall winner announced at 5pm.
