Healing Comedy Club are hosting a preview performance of Andy Storey's Brighton Fringe Show, "Awkwardian: Snapshots from an Anxious Life".

Are you socially awkward? Do you worry about your reaction face when someone else is talking? Do you use your partner as a human shield at a social gathering? Fellow Awkwardian Andy Storey shares vivid snapshots from his anxious existence.

Journeying into a misanthropic and awkward past, Andy's slant on social encounters is a quagmire of self-mortification.

He describes his show as being for the outsiders, the socially anxious, the people who see and feel too much and the ordinary eccentrics who get by from day to day.

Born and raised in the North of England, Andy Storey is one of the rising stars of the post alternative comedy scene.

Andy Storey began comedy in 2010 and his accolades include: winner of The Squeakies Clean Comedy 2012, runner up for Up The Creek One to Watch 2012, finalist for Piccadilly Comedy Club New Act 2016, for BBC Radio New Comedy Act Award 2015, , for Leicester Square New Act 2012, and Golden Jester 2013, semi finalist for So You Think You’re Funny 2012.

Tickets are very limited and need to be booked in advance. Seating can be arranged in pods of twos or fours. The OPEN Ealing venue in Dickens Yard has a bring your own bottle policy (BYOB).

As part of OPEN's mission to support emerging artists, the venue is provided free of charge and all bucket proceeds go directly to the Artist.
