One Pound Tickets on Sale for Halloween Pumpkin Trail
Popular event at Northfields Allotments attracts huge crowds
Spooky things will be happening at the allotments
Grab your wellies and prepare those costumes - Northfields Allotments‘ Halloween Pumpkin Trail is back!
The spooky trail through London’s oldest allotments will be open once again on Saturday 29 October from 3pm-7pm.
The pumpkin trail will be lined with carved pumpkins lit with candles. Visitors will pass the witches’ grotto, scarecrows, ethereal spirits and many other spooky decorations.

Among other ghoulish treats, there will be tasty homemade cakes and tea, as well as a BBQ and Bar serving mulled wine.
This year will be the sixth time Northfields Allotments have offered ghostly garden displays at their horrifying horticultural home on Northfield Avenue, West Ealing.
Due to overwhelming demand, this year will be a ticket only event.

“We know that this is a really popular event, so for the comfort of our visitors and volunteers, we’ll be limiting numbers,” said Penny Wark, chair of Ealing Dean Allotments’ Society. “We’re working hard on our spooky displays, and we look forward to welcoming visitors. We really hope everyone has a great time.”
Visitors are invited to buy timed tickets in advance which are available online for a nominal £1 plus a small booking fee. Tickets will not be sold at the event.
Children under the age of three will go free.
Dogs are welcome on a lead, but werewolves are asked not to howl in case it disturbs the neighbours. There will be a buggy park but visitors are asked to leave buggies at home if possible as paths are more suited to wheelbarrows.
To support visitors’ comfort, there will be portable loos, and a team on site from St John’s Ambulance.
