The Questors Theatre Announces Autumn Season
Productions include Tennessee Williams play and the story of The Ealing Club

The Questors Theatre has officially launched its Autumn 2022 season which begins on 23 September with Olivier Award-winning thriller Death and the Maiden by Ariel Dorfman on the main stage.
In the Studio theatre, a new play exploring the birthplace of British blues, The Ealing Club by Julian Smith is being performed. Heading into November, Tennessee Williams' Cat on a Hot Tin Roof whilst, in the Studio, Alan Ayckbourn's Haunting Julia takes centre stage.
Christmas would not be Christmas without Ealing's annual pantomime, this year, its King Arthur & the Twelfth Knight by playwright James Rushbrooke.
Meanwhile, the Studio will host the world premiere of The Remarkable Theatrical Adventures of Peregrine Proteus, a new play set in 19th century England by Jane Dewey.
Death and the Maiden

Set in post-dictatorship Chile, this thriller explores the struggle for National renewal through the eyes of a political activist who was once a victim of Pinochet’s regime. This production reveals the lengths one woman will go, to find her version of justice. An Olivier Award-winning play, widely regarded as Ariel Dorfman’s seminal work.
The Ealing Club

From Ealing Broadway to Chicago Blues... Out of the grey winter of 1962 comes the wild amplification of electric guitars and Chicago heat. A tale of bending notes, falling in love and almost being there for the birth of The Rolling Stones. Inspired by true events, this new play makes its world premiere at The Questors. There will be a post-show band each night, courtesy of The Ealing Club.

The Remarkable Theatrical Adventures of Peregrine Proteus

Set in 19th-century England, this rip-roaring new play tracks the life of an actor, from birth to stardom - and all the obstacles in between. Along the way, we meet a series of eccentric thespians, from inept performers to dotting romantics. This comic production boasts songs, fast-paced multi-rolling, and a Christmas finale to make history.
Questors hope to have a new roof over the playhouse in time for its centenary celebrations.
