The Summer season at The Questors Theatre in Ealing begins with Much Ado About Nothing. This version of Shakespeare's comedywill run from 28 April to 6 May in the Judi Dench Playhouse.

Sicily, 1920: the war is over, and the soldiers return home to let their hair down and fall in love. Young Claudio is smitten with virginal and beautiful Hero, while clever Benedick and Beatrice ignite an old flame, with a little help from meddling friends. Add a villain of the piece and a group of home guard worthies who lack every qualification for the job, and the fun is complete.

Coming Up at the Questors

Fromm 5 May - 13 May in the Studio there will be a production of Low Level Panic by Clare McIntyre. This ‘unapologetic’ play probes the effects of society’s objectification of women, as friends Mary, Celia and Jo figure out how they really feel about sex, their bodies and each other.

Winner the Samuel Beckett Award, the play was first performed at the Royal Court Theatre in 1988 to critical acclaim.

It contains non-sexual nudity, sexual assault and strong language and is suitable for ages 16 and above. Standard tickets are £14 with discounts for members and concessions.

Tom Stoppard’s time-jumping play Arcadia will be staged in the Judi Dench Playhouse from 3 June to 10 June.

In 1809 at an elegant country estate, Thomasina proposes an extraordinary theory. Around her, the adults, including her tutor Septimus, are preoccupied with forbidden desires, illicit passions and burning rivalries.

Two hundred years later, academic adversaries Hannah and Bernard are piecing together mystifying clues, recalling those events of 1809.
