Both seats have elected a full slate of Conservative councillors in the last few elections.
Meanwhile, campaigning is also underway to replace late councillor Anna Tomlinson for Hobbayne ward, after she died in June 2020.
Paying tribute to her last year, council leader Julian Bell said: “Anna was a joy to know, a really kind and gentle woman, and a good friend to all. Anna will be deeply missed by all of us who worked alongside her. She gave her time and experience to this community, which she loved.”
The ward did elect a Conservative councillor in 2010 but all three seats were held by Labour with a big majority at the last election.
