Ealing Property Sales - February 2014
Ealing home on Carlton Road sells for £3.7 million
West Ealing led the way during the month of February according to the latest property sales data.
There were 37 sales in the W13 post code are at an average price of £645,338. This is one of the highest monthly averages on record. Four of the sales were for over one million pounds. The highest priced sale during the month was for a house on Culmington Road which went for £1,675,000.
In the W5 post code area there were 55 sales at an average price of £541,161. Two of these were for over a million including a sale of a house in Hamilton Road for £1,999,950.
The average price in London during the month of February was £414,356 which is up by 13.8 % compared with the same month in 2013. For England and Wales as a whole the average is now £170,000 compared with the peak of £181,442 in November 2007 up by 5.3%.
The most up-to-date figures available show that during December 2013 the number of completed house sales in England & Wales increased by 33 per cent to 75,182 compared with 56,697 in December 2012.
The number of properties sold in England and Wales for over £1 million in December 2013 increased by 44 per cent to 898 from 624 in December 2012.
