Defintely not culture but.........

Ventured to the flicks last night to get away from the football, saw Mrs. Brown's Boys D'Movie and loved it. Very funny and expect all the usual characters and some new ones and celeb faces. If you like Agnes you'll love this.

A lot of my enjoyment comes from the way that O'Carroll pulls the cast up on their mistakes and makes them do it again, all while still on camera. The man who plays gay son Rory is always corpsing and O'Carroll's wife, who plays his daughter Cat'hy, couldn't act her way out of a wet paper bag. All great fun!

This very much seems to be a generational thing. My two sons hate Mrs.Brown with a passion yet most people of our age love it.

Can't stand Mrs Brown on TV as for paying to watch this drivel for over a hour - utter hell.  Horses for courses, we don't all like the same thing - just as well I guess as variety is the spice of life!

Apparently he's a member of MENSA, He's certainly got a good business brain, the film won't win any Oscars but it was a couple of hours of pure fun.

The bizarre thing is that this is not the first Mrs Brown film. Angelica Huston bought the rights some 15 years ago and made one, which was a disaster. This time Brendan O'Carroll has made sure he's kept control.BTW, anyone see O'Carroll in his own persona on TV? He was on QI a few months back. He looks exactly like a leprechaun!
