Yes Trudie, I can't immediately think of a a suitably prominent location where it could be placed without either causing obstruction (both literally or in the visual sense) or simply appearing completely out of place.I haven't studied the size of the thing but one place I did wonder about was the unused 'wharf' (or whatever it is called) near Commerce Road where the walls and roof have recently been replaced. That space could be used for something attractive, the replacement of the walls and roof are a start but it can't just be left empty, although not sure what residents of the Island Development (or the new development next to Commerce Road) would think about lots of tourists wandering along the towpath !.Talking of which, is it just me that thinks the new apartments on the Commerce Road side of the River Brent/Grand Union Canal look awful ? - just a big rectangular box with completely oversized balconies and the bricks and balconies railings all brown/sandy coloured, it looks so drab, featureless (unless the balconies are supposed to be a feature) and out of place.
