Befriending Volunteers Urgently Needed!!!!

Age UK Hounslow offers an invaluable befriending service for residents over the age of 18 living in the London borough of Hounslow. I think this is a brilliant scheme.  I got the info for an elderly acquaintance in another part of the UK.  Her circumstances have changed and she needs someone to help her start going out again to meet other people.  It gets tough when you have deleted so many names in your address book and you need to find new ways of getting around and new places to go after so many years as part of a couple.
