Miss cat: small tabby cat lost in Somerset Rd, Brentford

Hi allMy small tabby girl cat walked off on Monday and hasn't come back since.She's small, grey/brown tabby, likes to hang around Somerset Rd and the Butts area of Brentford. Hi allthank you so much for all the messages, I didn't see these replies as the messages didn't come through to my hotmail for some reason.Honey is home after her operation and eating like a horse, she's wobbly on her legs after the pelvis reattachment but is young and tries to be active so not enjoying cage rest very much. Hopefully she will recover soon and I'm going to try and stay home with her as much as possible. She turned up at my house meowing from the garden last Monday at midnight and it does break my heart that she was wandering around in pain for 6 days since the lady saw her get clipped by the car on the Brentford school for girls crossing, but I'm glad she managed to keep herself safe and away from foxes. The lady said they tried to approach but Honey ran away in shock. The school is about 6 houses from me so it looks like it took her 1 house/garden a night to crawl home as her back legs weren't really working. She clearly didn't eat either as she lost 1kg and she was already a tiny cat to begin with.  I am trying to remove my posters when I see them in the streets as you're right, my phone number was pretty much plastered around most of Brentford. It's been really nice having the support from everyone who called up about possible sightings of her. I hope she will be a bit more careful in the future (do cats learn?) and I've learnt the hard way to buy pet insurance for the future!!!!!xx

Sorry, just had a thought...why couldn't the 'eyewitness' who saw Honey, obviously injured and in distress, help the cat? Especially as a large percentage of Butts residents have been on the lookout, all week?? She may well have lost her collar but is microchipped, and there are posters everywhere with Ola phone number?? Honey might have not been in pain for as long as she was.

I am pleased  Honey has been reunited with her 'mummy'. I'm sorry to hear she has been injured, but I hope she makes a speedy recovery.

I saw a tabby cat in Upper Butts (the aprt that goes into Church Walk) last evening at around 9pm.  She was sitting on the wall next to the lamp post with her poster on - it was quite dark so difficult to tell if it was Honey.She was eating what looked like dried cat food that someone had put on the top of the wall.  Very friendly, purring and liked to be stroked.  I did try to call your phone number but got no reply.Good luck.

I will keep an eye out for her. Is she microchipped? My cat is always in the allotments, ( hunting for mice) near Willow Close/ Brentside. Maybe take a walk down there? What is your cats name? Will lean over allotment gates and call her for you? Don't worry, she will be back soon!

Don't despair cats do tend to wander in this weather, then they turn up miaowing their heads off for a meal as if nothing has happened. She'll be back.
