Brent Lea cafe

What's happening with the Brentford Cafe & Restaurant that was opening up in Brent Lea next to the newsagents?  It's had opening soon on it for months.

I've been to the cafe a couple of times for lunch and think it is excellent.  Everything freshly cooked, very reasonable prices and friendly staff.

Neither does Chiswick Business Park but both fall within the constituency that she hopes to be representing post May 2015.

Would this be the same' top of the tree' councillor who never replies to any letters or indeed promises to sort problems to residents than runs away from the problems?Who also has a habit of losing records and documents of relevance, fobbing people off and colluding with rather than taking on issues of complexity when out of his depth?  Which seems to be most issues.

I spoke to the proprietor of this new venture yesterday and apparently there is an issue causing the delay which is awaiting a response from either of two senior local councillors.  One is at the top of the tree as well as being one of the relevant ward councillors and the other has aspirations to higher office in the not too distant future, however neither has apparently seen fit to reply to this local resident and businessman.I am hoping this post will jog their memory.

Thanks for the update on the cafe Reg. We like to try them all out.  Wonder which is the best in Brentford at present.?Regarding a new chocolate shop next to O'Briens....do you mean a mistress economy has arrived in TW8?

No sign of it opening, all work inside seemed to stop several months ago.Some good news though Jim, a new chocolate shop will soon be opening up next to O'Briens!

It seemed so peaceful there. Have they opened yet?It's such a handy lay-by with adjoining re-cycling bins!
