Mad Axeman in Waterman's Park

I must congratulate the axe wielding man in Waterman's Park today. He was doing a sterling job of chopping up the big logs on the public walkway. These he no doubt carried manfully on his shoulders into the park. Chopped logs were then thrown on to boat which has them pretty much all over - inside and out. At least he was only wielding an axe and didn't resort to the use of his chainsaw which was parked on the grass.

Whoever heaved those large logs into the park on his shoulders must be a real man and should enter the Highland Games. Either that or he drove in with them.

Well why not - probably preferable to the ugly tower blocks the developers are plonking all along the river, spoiling the river views for the common herd!  Also if boats can dump themselves there for all these years, why not a caravan?  The council doesn't seem to care what Brentford looks like.

Perhaps the Council should have been providing proper services along there for years - these boats haven't suddenly turned up last week and it's been reported that many of the owners have said they're happy to pay Council Tax etc for proper access and services.

now they will burn them creating nasty pollution in contravention of the Clean Air Act.Bring on the serviced Marina!
